I haven't updated my journal since November. Oops.
Anyway, last weekend I attended WaiCon, Perth's Premiere Anime Convention
and boy, did I have a blast.
First day was average; I wasn't able to complete my Fruits Basket cosplay up to what I was hoping for, but I was able to buy a ton of awesome stuff.
However, the second day was amazing. I cosplayed as Taokaka from the video game BlazBlue, and I can honestly say it was probably one of my best cosplays in the past 3 years I have been cosplaying. Tao was one of my dream cosplays and I was able to make her a reality ^_^
In other news, I start my Diploma of Multimedia in less than a week. I'm excited but nervous at the same time; I hope i am able to complete it with flying colours and then gain a job in marketing
So fingers crossed for the next year.
One last piece of cosplay news; I will hopefully be attending Perth's next convention Oz Comic-Con
as Hidan, and depending on whether I go both days, either Taokaka again or I'll just pull on my Spyro kigurumi. Then comes Perth's next huge convention, Supanova. For this I will be cosplaying as a humanized version of Queen Chrysalis, and Sonozaki Shion from Higurashi
Should be a good year for cosplay.
